2013 So Far...

I can't believe it's the end of March! School is going great for both girls. Kiersten is surprising me more and more everyday with her reading. Thursday is Kindergarten registration for Kaylie. I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten, but it will be nice having them in the same school. Here are some recent pictures..

So, I'm going to try and be a better blogger. I've really been slacking lately. I just found out that there is an iPhone app (which I'm using now), to post with. Which is awesome, because I take a lot more pictures with my phone than my actually camera.

Kelly's Korner Link up

I'm doing a link up with Kelly's Korner. I think this is a great idea, as kids it's so easy to make friends, but as adults it's not so easy.
My name is Amanda, I'm 28 & live in Cumming, GA. I've lived in GA my entire life. I'm married with two girls, Kiersten is 5 & Kaylie is 3. I'm slightly addicted to Pinterest (but, who isn't?!). I love Instagram, (GA_Girl83) you can follow me if you want & I'll follow back. Leave me a comment if you stop by & I'll check out your blog!

All Things New

So, I realized it's been awhile since I last posted! So this will probably be a long post, or I might break it down a little....it's going to be picture overload. Where to start, Kiersten started Pre-K in September & she LOVES it (and I love her teachers)! It was harder on me than her, I cried after I dropped her off and her first day & she didn't. She's already learned the Presidents, from Washington to Obama...I didn't even know that, but have learned it from hearing her sing the song 1,000,000x. She turned 5 in November, which doesn't seem possible...she needs to slow down, she's getting way too big!

After Christmas break they have started reading and math, yes, math in Pre-K. She is also doing ballet/tap class. It's so cute watching all the little girls & I can't wait to see their recital at the end of the year.

Onto Kaylie, she is learning more and more everyday! She turned 3 in July, and can't believe she will be going to Pre-K this year. She is excited about it and will ask often when she can go to school and go to ballet too. It's going to be hard on me to take my baby to school, I've been at home with her since she was born, so other than church or going to my grandparents for a few days, she's never been away from me.

This year we were a little late carving a pumpkin, we did it the day before Halloween. We took a trip to Burt's Farm to get our pumpkin and go on a hayride. They had HUGE pumpkins (150 lbs).

It's been awhile since I have updated, mainly because our computer isn't working, so I decided to add some of the pictures from my phone.  Kaylie is now sleeping in a   "big girl" bed, after she climbed out of the crib this morning.  We went to Boston at the end of July, the girls had so much fun, especially with Aunt Alaina (Kiersten wore her out)!!! We took the girls to the beach for the first time while we were there & they both loved it! Kiersten also went ice-skating while we were there.

Twins

I enjoy dressing the girls in matching outfits. My Grandmother bought Kiersten the little Sailor dress, and it came with a matching dress for her dolls. We recently cut Kiersten's hair (2 1/2 inches got cut off), at first she didn't want her hair cut, she said "God gave me my beautiful long hair, I don't want it cut short". She gets hot very easy, so it needed to be cut shorter. Kaylie's hair is finally long enough for pigtails, she has very curly hair so it looks a lot shorter than it is.

Park

The overalls Kaylie has on, were mine when I was little. We took Kiersten to the park, and aside from pollen blowing ALL over the place, it was a lot of fun. Before we left Kiersten had to sit at the picnic table and eat a pack of fruit snacks & drink bottled water.
