Mommy's Little Helper

I've started letting Kiersten help me in the kitchen. First, we made cupcakes, she poured all the ingredients in the bowl (except the eggs), and put the liners in the pan. After they were done she helped me frost them and she put sprinkles on them! The next night we made pizza, she helped spread the dough, the sauce, and with the cheese & pepperoni she was putting it all right in the middle, so she had to have some help. It was SO much fun for both of us!! Maybe I can see about getting her a little apron! Before too long I will have a helper on both sides of me!!

Kiersten has been using the potty (regularly) since Sunday, and she has only had ONE accident!!! Hopefully she will do okay when we go to Baltimore in two weeks. This potty training stuff is easier than I thought it would be, hopefully Kaylie is this easy too. Today we went to the park, and boy was it hot! Poor little Kaylie was sweating, and she is so tiny she looked like she was going to come out of the swing. My Mom & I gave the girls a bath together, surprisingly they did GREAT together!

I had a GREAT Mother's Day weekend! We went down to spend the weekend with my Grandmother & Mom. We all went to Church together, then met for dinner at Logan's. We also cut Kaylie's bangs, they were touching her nose (they aren't straight, but a lot better). Kiersten is getting MUCH better with potty training, she went most of the day Saturday, all day Sunday & today =)!!!
I have to ask her sometimes, most of the time she will tell me, or just go if the baby gate isn't up.

Update

Kaylie went for her 9 month checkup today. She is 16 lbs (10%) and 28 1/4 inches (75%). Kiersten loves putting on shoes, in the picture she put on my Granddad's boots. She also loves to paint & color, in the picture she is painting a present for Mother's Day. That was her first time painting and she did a good job. I also put in a picture of the finished product, it's a little plaster magnet. We are working on potty training...last night she got out of bed around 10 & said she needed to go potty, and she did! She has gone a few times today :)! She is SUCH a good girl! It's hard to believe she is almost 2 1/2...time goes by WAY too fast!
